VOLUNTEERS ARE ALWAYS NEEDED!

The Dakota County Historical Society is seeking a volunteers for specifically for the following:

Gift Shop Manager
 Help us to overhaul our museum store. A person with retail merchandising experience would be much appreciated.

Receptionist
 Needed to answer telephones, sort mail, and greet customers, Times to fit your schedule.

Curator Assistant
If you enjoy creative challenges you may be interested in this position! You will help the museum curator with painting, prop development, signage and exhibit installation. You will be able to assist with organizing artifacts and keeping inventories.

General Volunteer Opportunities
DCHS needs volunteers to:

  • scan photos
  • enter data into databases
  • photograph artifacts
  • index information from newpapers
  • and many other things.

We have many projects just waiting for someone to lend a hand. If you can help, even a couple of hours a week, please call or visit our Research Library and Museum at:
