Johannes Allert will present: Liberty's Ladies

"Little is known of the generation of women who served in the Great War. More often than not, it's the 'Greatest Generation' that gets much of the credit for advancing the roles of women in modern society; however, they had a predecessor. Mr. Allert will provide contextual background on the evolving roles of women in the Great War. His presentation will chronicle women from all walks of life who answered the call to "make the world safe for democracy" and were the pathfinders of their cause. Additionally, Mr. Allert will reveal the roles of women in post-WWI era in shaping public memory of the Great War."

Your reservation for the event includes the presentation, snacks and light food, along with one free drink ticket. A cash bar will be available if you would like to purchase additional beverages throughout the night. Beer and wine will be available, along with non-alcoholic options.
