Join the Dakota County Historical Society as we hit the road with our World War I exhibit at Mall of America.
Over Memorial Day Weekend, we will be set up in the Sears Court with our full World War I exhibit, featuring interpretive banner text, our above-ground trench, a Dakota County service flag, uniforms, and much more! Children during the event can stop by for a coloring activity, make their own poppy, or even do a scavenger hunt of our exhibit. Once the kids are done with their activity, they will receive a voucher for admission to the Crayola Experience.
As you make your plans to visit, take some time to stop by the Rotunda on Monday, May 27, 2019 for our fashion show! Our show, "World War I Fashions: The War that Raised Grandma's Hemline" will feature women's clothing from various roles they played in the war effort.
We want to thank our sponsors for this event!
