NorthStar Paranormal Research has put together a wonderful documentary on the life of George Daniels titled: Uncle George, Life Story of George Daniels.

George Washington Daniels was born into slavery in Rome Georgia in 1831. He served in the Confederate Army during the civil war, escaping during battle and enlisting under the Union Army. He was mustered out of the war in 1865 and was employed by General William Gates LeDuc to work at his home in Hastings MN. George and his family moved to South Dakota where he farmed his own land and became a pillar in the community of White, SD

To celebrate this film we will be hosting a film screening of the documentary in the Parlor of the LeDuc Historic Estate. Proceeds will go towards funding the expansion of our George Daniels exhibit in the carriage barn. There will be a small presentation and Q&A by NorthStar Paranormal to discuss the project.
