Join the Dakota County Historical Society and the River City Jazz Orchestra as we celebrate our organization's 80th Birthday!
Founded in 1939, we have preserved, interpreted and promoted the history of Dakota County the past 80 years. The night will feature the River City Jazz Orchestra playing themed music from the era we were founded. Throughout the night, we will share interesting history tidbits related to our organization, as well as pop culture trivia from 1939.
Each registrant will receive admission to the event, a plated meal, live music and if you dare, dancing! Throughout the night, you can bid on our silent auction with prize packages from local businesses. To cap off the night, a raffle drawing will take place with Kansas City, Missouri Vacation package as the prize, including admission to the National WWI Museum & Memorial, hotel stay and much more.
Food options include:
- Tuscan Chicken: Airline chicken breast, roasted onion, artichoke, grape tomato, garlic and white wine
- Roasted Pork Loin: With rosemary-cherry stuffing and currant demi-glace
- Butternut Squash Ravioli: Gorgonzola cheese, walnut and apple cream sauce
All food options come with garden salad, starch and bread rolls. Each registration comes with a drink ticket for a non-alcoholic beverage, unlimited water and coffee. A cash bar will be available throughout the night.
In the notes section, please indicate your food option(s). Without including a food option, it will not allow your registration to process.
