The year 2020 will mark the 75th Anniversary of the end of World War II. Do you know what types of military records are available and where you can access them? How are the records available useful to your genealogy quest? This presentation will explore Fold3.com and provide tips to assist you in locating you ancestor's military records.
Cathi Weber has been conducting genealogy research for more than 40 years and started NorthStar Genealogy to help others with their research and to teach classes. She is President of the Anoka County Genealogical Society and a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists in addition to a genealogy instructor and researcher.
This presentation is offered free of charge, but we encourage you to make a donation to the Dakota County Historical Society to offset the loss of revenue we are experiencing through cancelled events. Your donation will allow us to continue operating at a high level and continue to provide these programs in the future.
Registration for this virtual event is required. After registering you will receive a confirmation email. A separate email closer to the date will be sent containing the link and passcode for joining the event.
This event was made possible by the Union Pacific Foundation COVID-19 Relief Grant.
