Join a guide from the Sibley Historic Site for a socially distanced afternoon walk along the river and learn about the history of the area where the Minnesota and Mississippi rivers meet--known as Bdote by the Dakota--and its importance to the fur trade and development of Minnesota as a state.

  • Social Distance: Keep a distance of 6+ feet from anyone who is not a part of your household at the event, including the Site Educator.

  • Mask: Wear a face covering upon arrival and when around other participants and the staff, even when you are 6 feet apart.
