Join the Dakota County Star Quilters for their 26th annual Quilt show, The Show Must Go On.

The virtual presentation "My Excellent Adventure as a Quilter" by Tina Curran, will take place on Tuesday, March 9th at 7 p.m. This presentation will feature a trunk show with about three dozen of the quilts that Tina has created over the last twenty-plus years. The goal is to encourage quilters by showing how her skills evolved and how she too was once a beginner. Join us for an inspiring talk and display.

The exhibition will feature more than 100 quilts on display, contributed by members of the Dakota County Star Quilters. There is an annual challenge project among the members that visitors can vote for their favorites.throughout the duration of the show

For the safety of our staff, their families and our visitors, everyone that enters the Lawshe Museum is required to follow safety protocols. Face coverings must be worn to enter the building.

The show will run during normal operating hours. The exhibit will open on Tuesday, March 9th at 9 a.m. The presentation by Tina Curran will take place at 7 p.m. Tickets for the presentation can be purchased by clicking here (you will leave the DCHS website).
