Join the Dakota County Historical Society for the second of three Movie Nights at the Sibley Historic Site!

The event is free to the public, but donations are encouraged.

The featured movie will be "Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark." The year is 1936. An archaeology professor named Indiana Jones is venturing in the jungles of South America searching for a golden statue. Unfortunately, he sets off a deadly trap but miraculously escapes. Then, Jones hears from a museum curator named Marcus Brody about a biblical artifact called The Ark of the covenant, which can hold the key to human existence.

Attendees will be seated outdoors at the bottom of the hill by the Sibley and Faribault Houses to view the movie on a large outdoor movie screen. Please bring your own seating, such as blankets and / or chairs. This event is outdoors, so please plan accordingly with bug spray, as you will be located down near the river. 

Limited refreshments will be available to purchase.
